Fayose faults Osinbajo over Buhari, threatens to release 11 pictures concerning him

Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and governor of Ekiti state, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, on Wednesday accused acting President Yemi Osinbajo of not being truthful over the real health condition of President Muhammadu Buhari, threatening to release 11 pictures concerning the real health status of the president if the presidency fails to come clean on the issue.

Fayose pointedly said that the claim of the Acting President that Buhari is fast recuperating and will return to the country soon was not true.

Rather, the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum insisted that the president is critically sick and incapacitated and that he is presently on life support.

The Ekiti state governor challenged the Osinbajo to show Nigerians pictures and short videos of his meeting with President Buhari in London last Tuesday if indeed he is insisting that the president is fast recharging.

He specifically described the visit of Osinbajo to London to see Buhari as nothing but diversionary.

According to Fayose, “we pray for his (Buhari’s) health and for him to come back in one piece. However, the claim of the acting President that Buhari is recuperating fast is not true. The president is incapacitated and sick. There is no iota of truth that the President is in good condition.

“In this age of technology, Osinbajo should be able to show Nigerians pictures and short videos of the President to show that he is okay. Nigerians want to see their President.

“The acting President’s statement that Buhari is okay is not true, it is far from the truth. president Buhari is very sick, critically sick. The President is critically ill.

“If they are not careful, I will release eleven pictures about the real health status of the President any moment from now”, he threatened.

Fayose recalled that he warned Nigerians in 2015 about the health condition of the President, noting with regret that his warning was ignored.

He stressed that whenever he asked about the health condition of the President, “they will say you are asking too much. but now, we have been able to establish that the President is on life support”.

The governor therefore repeated his call on President Buhari to step aside and allow Nigeria to move on.

When asked if the governors have made efforts to visit the President in London, Fayose said that each time they had made efforts towards that direction, they were always meeting brick wall.
