Etokebe floats soccer academy in Akwa Ibom

Former Nigeria international David Etokebe has floated a football academy in Akwa Ibom.
David Etokebe, who is a brother of another ex-international James Etokebe revealed that he decided to give back to the society and also give young lads avenue to develop and grow as footballers.
“I own a football academy, FC Davo September 2015 in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. It’s a new academy where we discover and develop young talents,” he said.
“I own and coach the academy and we are still looking for sponsors, James has been a very important factor to the formation of the club and my good friend, ex-footballer now coach in Vietnam, Iliya Buba.”
David Etokebe played for Nigeria U-20 in 2000.
He played for Ibom Stars, Gombe United, Lobi Stars, Jasper United, Ho Chi Minh City FC, Vietnam and Bogor FC, Indonesia.
