Economy: Clergy urges Nigerians to be patient with Buhari

Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, the General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide has implored Nigerians to be patient with the government of President Muhammadu Buhari over the present economic challenges in the country.
The man of God gave this charge on Sunday during his message and prayer for the nation at Christ Apostolic Church, Agbala Itura, Olode area in Ibadan.
The prophet, while urging the government to alleviate present suffering of petroleum scarcity and epileptic supply of electricity in the country which he described as the drivers of any country’s economy, urged Nigerians to be patient adding that “After darkness comes the light.”
He said, “I want to sincerely call on Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government of as they are presently tackling the problems so as to bring a new lease of life to them.”
According to him, the prayer for the nation was organised for the nation because Nigeria is sick and it is a biblical mandate.
Abiara, therefore, implored all Nigerians to resort to agriculture as a mean to bail the country out of the present economic challenges as it were during the time of our fore-fathers, noting that agriculture remains one of the sectors of the economy that can sustain economic development.
