Economies can come back, but deaths you can’t reverse – Bill Gates
Microsoft founder Bill Gates has said that in the next 18 months the vaccine for novel coronavirus will be gotten.
Gates, speaking to Financial Times via Skype said: “We will get a vaccine,” “And the goal of our foundation is that everyone will get one. Hopefully in 18 months.” We’re gonna get through this. “The science is there.”
He went on to say that though the world was caught unprepared for the COVID-19 outbreak, but will face the next outbreaks more prepared.
He went on to warn that the world will experience another pandemic in the next twenty years.
Gate also said the economies will come back, but deaths can’t be reversed…
He said: ‘You don’t have a choice.” And a warning for the impatient in first-world countries: In rich countries, you will be able to open up if things are done well. Normalcy only returns when we vaccinate the global population.”
