Don drums support for Buhari

The Head of Department, Political Science at the Kogi State University Anyi, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has stressed the need for Nigerians to give maximum support to President Muhammad Buhari in his determined efforts to take the country to another level of development.
In a statement made available to journalists in Lokoja yesterday, Dr. Ogbo posited that the current fight against corruption was aimed at restoring sanity in the system, which would immensely benefit the
nation in the end.
He pointed out that the concerted efforts of the present administration in reviving the economy must be appreciated, even as he stressed that all hands must be on deck to pull the country out of the
woods.
He further commended Mr. President for appointing Prof. Stephen Ocheni as a ministerial nominee from Kogi state, describing the development as a right step in a right direction.
According to Dr. Ogbo, Prof. Ocheni is an academic of no mean repute who has contributed immensely to the development of education in the country, maintaining that he strongly believe that he would deliver upon his confirmation by the National Assembly.
The university don further expressed confidence that the ministerial nominee would bring his wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of the assignment to be given to him, describing him as a pride to the Igala race in particular and the people of the state in general.
The ministerial nominee, a Professor of Public Sector Accounting and currently a re-elected Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences at the Kogi State University, hails from Uwowo in Igalamela/Odolu local government area of the state.
