Dinamo Bucharest honour Ekeng’s family

Dinamo Bucharest have announced that they will honour the memory of the late Patrick Ekeng by sending the Romanian Cup to his family in Cameroun, if they win the showpiece.
Ekeng, 26, tragically passed away from suspected heart failure during the clubs’ game against Viitorul Constanta last Friday.
“If we win the final, the trophy will be sent to Cameroun, where it will be placed on Patrick’s grave,” said Dinamo sporting director Ionel Danciulescu.
The former Romania international told Romanian TV channel that Dinamo would ask Cluj to do the same; if they were to reign victorious.
On June 26, 2003, former Cameroun midfielder Marc-Vivien Foe collapsed and died during an international match against Colombia in Lyon.
