Delta workers fume over dilapidated structure

Workers in the office of the Delta State Government Chief Press Secretary on Monday raised the alarm over the continued leaking roofs, saying that the situation portends uncomfortable atmosphere for their activities.
Although the workers who spoke on condition of anonymity were seen grimaced, they said: “We have written memos for the repairs of the leaking roofs to no avail. “Most times, our documents are destroyed and they will come to inspect without doing the work”, they complained.
Unconfirmed sources said the leaking roofs had defiled several solutions to self-acclaimed experts when it started around January 2016, after they allegedly collected some money to fix the problem.
But the Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Charles Aniagwu in a swift reaction confirmed that work for the repair of the leaking roofs will soon commence, adding “some experts have come to see it and they will soon fix it”.
