While the prayers were on going, some unscrupulous elements accosted and hijacked him and subjected him to inhuman treatments which included threat to life, blackmail, manhandling; and forced him and his team into acting as contained in the viral video and asked him to transfer all the money in his bank account if he and his team were to leave the environment alive…’, the statement reveals.

The Ministry, in disclaiming the viral video in circulation, said it ‘’was a product of duress, threat to life and intimidation of the Bishop and his team, adding: “everyone who knows Bishop Osmond will no doubt agree that he will never associate himself with what was contained in the video in question.’’
