Charles Okah's Trial: Prosecution to Tender Additional Exhibits

Dr. Alex Izinyon (SAN), the lead prosecution counsel, on Monday, told a Federal High Court, in Abuja, that the team was ready to tender additional exhibits as proof that Charles Okah and Obi Nwabueze committed the October1, 2010 Independence Day anniversary bombing, in Abuja.

The team had, last week, tendered 14 exhibits, including an old Mazda car with registration number Lagos BY 318 FKJ, military wears, camping materials and others items that were recovered from the accused persons.

At the resumed trial, on Monday, Izinyon said that the prosecution team had two other important documents to tender but the trial judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole, said it would be time consuming to tender the document in bits. He advised the prosecution to make the documents available to the accused counsel for examination.

Meanwhile, a prosecution witness, John Afolabi, told the court that all the exhibits were tendered and admitted, was given to him by Abdul Ganiyu, a member of State Security Services (SSS), investigation team that probed the incident.
