CAN National Youth President Laud Oritsejafor

The National Youth President, Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN), Engr. Daniel Kadzai, has said that the out going CAN president, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has given the body of Christ in Nigeria, a vioce against operation and intimidation.
Kadzai, while interacting with our correspondent on the achievements of the out going CAN president, stated that, Oritsejafor has done his best for Christians in Nigeria.
The Youth President is quoted saying that, it is unfortunate that some Christians has failed to understand Pastor Ayo, who wore a big shoe of leadership and has given his best to move the Church of Christ forward, he said.
He said those criticizing the CAN president are doing so out of ignorant, stating that the problem of Christians are within, characterized with Sectionalism and lack of proper understanding of the scripture.
His words, “Papa Ayo’s achievement is a landmark that has not been achieved by any CAN President or leader. He has done so well to reposition the Church as politicians are now restrain from taking Christians for granted knowing that CAN as a body will rise to their defense”.
Kadzai, condemned the recent protest by some group agitating against the recent CAN National election that saw the emergence of a new CAN president and officials, to be sworn-in on the 19th and 20th of June, 2016, during the National Executive meeting of CAN.
He said the act of protesting does not reflect the true virtue of a Christian, stating that those behind the protest are not CAN members.
Recalled that the new President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Supo Ayokunle Ayokunle emerged on the 14th June, 2016, during an election at the Ecumenical Centre, Abuja where Ayokunle got 54 votes to defeat Elder Joseph Otubu of the Motailatu Church cherubim and Seraphim Movement (MCCSW) who got 28 votes.
