CAC promises seamless registration for foreign firms in Nigeria
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has assured foreign organisations of a seamless registration process to facilitate their operations in Nigeria.
This was disclosed by the registrar general of CAC, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, with representatives of Malaria Consortium, led by Professor Wilfred Mbacham, who is the chairman of its Board of Trustees.
Magaji emphasised the commission’s role as the gateway for business registration in Nigeria, pledging proper guidance to align with the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA 2020). He assured that, the CAC would support organizations in achieving their goals within Nigeria’s legal framework.

Professor Mbacham highlighted Malaria Consortium’s commitment to expanding its impact in Nigeria’s health sector and requested CAC’s assistance in registering its Nigerian counterpart.
The organisation aims to enhance its local presence to further its work in combating diseases and promoting universal health coverage.
Director of Programmes for Africa at Malaria Consortium, Dr. Kolawole Maxwell explained the organisation’s mission to save lives and improve health outcomes in Africa and Asia.
Since starting operations in Nigeria in 2008, Malaria Consortium has recruited over 5,000 staff and operates in 17 states, with notable support provided to Kano, Bauchi, Katsina, and Osun.
The organisation seeks to register ‘Malaria and Public Health Nigeria’ as a Limited by Guarantee (LTD/GTE) entity to formalize its Nigerian operations.
