Cabinet Reshuffle In Presidential System Illegal – NSE.

Amidst calls for President Muhammadu Buhari to reshuffle his cabinet,the Nigerian Society of Engineers ( NSE) has said there is no room for it in the presidential system.
Speaking at a world press conference in Abuja yesterday, President Of NSE,Otis Anyaeji noted that ministerial positions are competence based and sensitive to performance and if such a person fails, he is dropped.
LEADERSHIP recalls that some prominent Nigerians have called on the President to reshuffle his cabinet as the cabinet as presently constituted cannot take Nigeria to the Promise Land.
The NSE president expressed the view that the success of President Buhari in his role as the executive in chief would hinge on his success in attracting and selecting talents for both political appointees and employees in public service.
Anyaeji said: “It is expected that the President will be personally involved in the interviewing process,and do not abdicate this responsibility to state governors and political party chieftains.
“Such persons are nominated for specific ministerial portfolios and if a nominee is screened for a particular ministry and is deemed competent for that position, he or she is appointed to go and perform.
