The National President of Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, has disclosed that bus conductors in Lagos State will receive and start wearing uniforms, name tags and badges from March 1st, 2017.
This is according to the national president of bus conductors association of Nigeria, Israel Adeshola, who says
the Lagos state government approved the development on Monday, 13th February 2017.
“It would become mandatory for bus conductors in Lagos state to wear uniforms, name tags, and badges from March 1st, 2017.
The new policy would see over three thousand bonafide members of the association use badges and wear uniforms.
Adeshola explained that the introduction of uniforms, name tags and badges had become necessary to enforce
decorum and ensure the safety of duly registered members and members of the public.
He further said that any conductor involved in a crime can easily be identified and apprehended with the vital information on the badge.
