Burna Boy lights up Buckingham Palace as Lionesses celebrate Euro 2025 triumph

Nigerian music icon Burna Boy delivered a show-stopping performance at Buckingham Palace on Monday night, joining England’s Lionesses in celebrating their UEFA Euro 2025 victory.

The celebration followed England’s tense 3-1 penalty shootout win over Spain, after a 1-1 draw in extra time — sealing back-to-back European titles for the team.

Burna Boy took the stage in front of over 100,000 fans gathered outside the palace, performing his hit single For My Hand featuring Ed Sheeran. His Afro-fusion sound turned the royal celebration into a full-blown street party.

The Lionesses danced and sang along, with manager Sarina Wiegman visibly emotional as she embraced the Nigerian star mid-performance.

“Sarina’s a massive Burna Boy fan,” former England defender and pundit Alex Scott confirmed. “She sang every word.”

The night was more than a sports party — it became a fusion of football, music, and culture. Burna Boy’s performance drew cheers from players, royals, and fans alike, adding an African rhythm to England’s historic moment.

From the pitch to the palace, the Lionesses had plenty to celebrate. And Burna Boy made sure their night ended on a legendary note.
