Lockdown: Buhari to address Nigerians at 8:00 pm
President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation Monday, April 27, 2020 at 8pm.

Television, radio and other electronic media stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.
The Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad, made this known via a tweet.

Also Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, made this known in a statement in Abuja on Monday.
Adesina said the president would make the broadcast at 8 p.m today (April 27).
”Television, radio and other electronic media stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), respectively, for the broadcast,” he said
The president had earlier addressed the nation in March and on April 13 where he announced measures.

The steps included lockdown of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Lagos and Ogun States to contain the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The additional 14-day lockdown extension in FCT, Lagos and Ogun will expire by 11 p.m on April 27.
