Buhari appoints 23 CEOs into FMBN, NATPIP, other FG agencies

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed 23 new chief executives officers (CEOs) into NATPIP, FMBN and other various government agencies.

In a statement signed by Mr Bolaji Adebiyi, Director of Press to the Secretary of the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Babachir David Lawal, and made available in Abuja yesterday, the appointments took immediate effect.

Under the new dispensation, the new Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) is Arc. Ahmed Dangiwa. Mr Melvin Eboh is the Executive Director (Org. Resourcing), Hajiya Rahimatu Aliyu becomes the Executive Director (Loans Department, Securities Issuance and Market Development) while Umaru Abdullahi Dankane is the Executive Director (Policy and Strategy Loans Set-Up and Pay Off) of the bank

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) now has a new director general. The new Director General of the agency is now Barrister Julie Okah-Donli while the Director-General of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD) is Barrister Mary Ikpere-Eta.

The new Director-General of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) is Mr Bayo Somefun while three executive directors are to join the director general in piloting the affairs of the trust fund. The new executive directors are Tijani Suleiman, Mr. Jasper Azuatalam and Chief Kemi Nelson

For the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) the new Director General is Mr Alex Okoh while Abdulkadir Saidu Umar is the new Executive Secretary for the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA)

The Conservator General/ CEO for National Park Service (NPS) is Ibrahim Musa Goni while the National Coordinator of SERVICOM is Nnenna A. Akajemeli.

Other appointments into the government agencies are as follows:
Director General, National Directorate of Employment (NDE) Dr. Nasiru Mohammed Ladan;

Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), Saliu Dada Alabi;

Director General, National Research Institute for Chemical Technology, Prof Jef. T. Barminas;

Director General, Nigeria Institute for Social and Economic Research (NISER), Dr. Haruna Yerima;

Deputy Commissioner, Nigeria Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Sunday Thomas;
Executive Secretary, Consumer Protection Council (CPC), Tunde Erukera and the Secretary, Federal Character Commission, Barr. Mohammed Bello Tukur.

The new appointments also include the Director General (Subject to Senate confirmation), National Pension Commission (PENCOM), Dikko Aliyu Abdulrahman, chairman, Funso Doherty, executive commissioners, Akin Akinwale, Abubakar Zaki Magawata, Ben Oviosun and Nyerere Ayim;

Executive Secretary, Federal Capital Development Authority, Engr. Umar Gambo Jibrin;

Managing Director, Nigeria Agriculture Insurance Corporation, Mrs. Folashade Joseph;

Director General, Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), Cecilia Umaru Gaya;

Executive Secretary, Lagos International Trade Fair Management Board, Mrs. Luci Ajayi;

Managing Director, Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority, Barrister Emmanuel Jimme;

Director General, Nigeria Lottery Regulatory Commission, Lanre Gbajabiamila; and

Director General, Nigeria Automotive Design and Development Council, Jalani Aliyu.
