Breaking: PDP Inaugurates Elective National Convention Committee

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP on Thursday inaugurated members of the Zoning Committee ahead of the November 15,16 elective national convention scheduled for Ibadan

The zoning committee is headed by the governor of Bayelsa State , Senator Douye Diri with governors Dauda Lawal of Zamfara, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Caleb Muftwang of Plateau State.

Acting National Chairman, Amb. Ilya Damagum charged the zoning committee to work with equity and fairness . To approach the assignment with fairness and justice adding that their responsibility deserves resilience .

He said”this committee is the engine upon which the foundation of the future of PDP is built”.

The National Organizing Secretary of the party, Umar Bature also said the zoning committee is important to the future of the party.

The 44 members were on inaugurated by the acting national chairman.
