BREAKING: INEC Relocates 749 Polling Units From Shrines, Mosques, Others

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that 749 polling booths have been shifted from inconvenient locations across the country.
Nine of them were also taken from shrines, as well as religious houses, royal residences, and private buildings, according to the country’s election umpire.
INEC Chairman Prof. Mahmood Yakubu said the country now has 176, 846 full-fledged voting units, up from the initial 119,973 polling units, at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja.
