Boko Haram leader, ‘Shekau’ fatally wounded in air strike

Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman, says some key members of dreaded Boko Haram insurgents have been killed in an unprecedented and spectacular air raid on their hideouts. Some were said to be fatally wounded.
The raids were conducted by men and officers of the Nigerian Air Force. the raid was conducted Friday, last week.
Usman’s statement says among the injured is acclaimed leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau.
The air interdiction took place last week Friday 19th August 2016, while the terrorists were performing Friday rituals at Taye village, Gombale general area within Sambisa forest, Borno State.
Those Boko Haram terrorists commanders confirmed dead include Abubakar Mubi, Malam Nuhu and Malam Hamman, amongst others.
