Boki nation canvasses 2nd term for Ayade

The people of Boki, Northern Senatorial district of Cross River State, under the guise of Boki Nations have placed a curse on any indigene of the state who tried to stall Governor Ben Ayade’s administration. This came as a result of the expected Supreme Court judgment scheduled to be delivered on December 9th on the perjury suit filed against Governor Ayade by a PDP governorship aspirant in the governorship election, Mr. Joe Agi, (SAN).
Addressing a press conference in Calabar Thursday, the Commissioner for Works, Engineer Dan Osim-Asu said that the people gave Governor Ayade 100% votes during the primary and the main elections and they will not leave to see the mandates given to him to slip to any other person.
“All Boki Nations voted massively for PDP and Governor Ben Ayade at the primaries and the main elections, we gave the party and the governor the highest votes. We represented the entire people of Boki, the elites and the youths and we stood by our mandate and we shall maintain that until after the eight years”
The Boki Nations said “When we speak, we don’t change, when we move we don’t stand by it and when we act we don’t shift ground, we are committed by ensuring that Ayade remains in office, we gave our governor total support to run the affairs of the state as recommended by the constitution”
Also speaking, a woman who described herself as a women leader Lady Vera Obi Bisong, said “This government has come to stay, the mandate was for eight years and nothing will change it because other areas had had their eight years, ours will not be different’.
