Bayern sign Sanches for initial €35m
Bayern Munich have signed Renato Sanches from Benfica for an initial fee of €35million. The 18-year-old has agreed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions after completing a medical in Munich on Monday. Benfica later confirmed that the initial fee of €35m could rise to €80m, with an additional €45m depending on success-related bonuses. Sanches, who only made his senior Benfica debut in October, has emerged as one of the most highly regarded young players in Europe this season.
