Ayade demands patience from C’River people

The Senior Special Adviser to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State on Communications and Strategies, Hon. Don Clem Enamhe has charged indigenes of the state and other stakeholders in the development drive of the state to remain aents of change by holding tenaciously to the ideals of the present administration transformation mantra.

He has also admonished the people to adhere to the rule of decency as a collective task of developing the state.

The governor’s aide who made the call in a chat with Daily Times in Abuja on Tuesday, however, commended the resilient of the people of the state in spite of deliberate attempts from some quota to discredit the administration of Governor Ben Ayade in his quest to move the state forward in the face of the state’s lean resources.

The SSA who noted that like every human endeavour, there are rooms for constructive criticism, called for caution and restraint among the indigenes irrespective of their political inclinations so as to complement the administration’s resolve to provide the people with the needed dividends of democracy.

According to Enamhe, “As committed sons and daughters of Cross River state, you must at all times remain the conscience of the state which can only be attained when we see ourselves as builders and not partisan voices, hence house divided against itself cannot stand”.
