ASUU declares trade dispute with Edo govt
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma branch, has declared trade dispute with the Edo State government over what it described as “the abnormal administration of the University for the past one year,” following the failure of the government to reconstitute its Governing Council and poor funding.
The union therefore, gave the State government up to the October 1, 2018 to satisfactorily resolve all contending issues, saying that if this was not done, “ASUU will be free to take any legitimate action in defence of the University”.
