Archery election holds March 10

The Nigeria Archery Federation (NAF) will on Thursday, March 10, elect officers to occupy various offices on the executive board of the body.  This is in line with the agreement reached at the stakeholders meeting held at the secretariat of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.

It was agreed at the meeting chaired by the Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee, Hon. Tunde Popoola that registration ended on February 29, 2016, while nominations closed on March 4, 2016 ahead of theMarch 10 election which comes up at the board room of the Nigeria Olympic Committee.

It would be recalled that leadership tussle in NAF has been hampering and derailing the progress and development of Archery sport in the country for sometime now and the Nigeria Olympic Committee considered it appropriate to hold the election so as to restore sanity and move the sport forward Popoola informed
