APC members in Delta Ika North East council dump party for PDP

About 5,000 members of the All progressive Congress (APC) in Ika North East local government area of Delta State on Monday dumped party for the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the area.

Most of the decampees were mainly from Ekwuoma wards in Ika North East local government area who claimed they were fed up with the APC alleged lawlessness and lies laced with deceits.

At an open field in Ekwuoma community, the decampees were received by PDP chieftain in the area, Chief Gabriel Azukaegbo Njokede who assured them that there would be no discrimination against them, adding that by virtue of their decision to move into the party automatically made them one indivisible members of the party.
