Amokachi seeks first league win in Finland

Former Nigeria coach Daniel Amokachi has said he hopes to win his first league game in Finland with second division JS Hercules today after they lost their opening game of the new season.
Hercules fell 2-0 at OPS, but a confident Amokachi said they could beat AC Kajaani if they did what is expected of them.
“The first game at OPS was 50-50. We did not put the pressure when we need to do so in the game vs OPS,” he said.
“We sat down after the game, and we talked about the fact that now is the time to play to our full potential, this is no pre-season games or friendly, it’s the league, we can’t afford to be losing game after game.
“We are not dwelling much on the lost game, our focus is on the game against AC Kajaani.”
Amokachi added: “Football is a 90-minute game. We must do the right things throughout the match.
“If we can create scoring chances and utilise them, we will win the game. It will be a different game and better one for us than the opening game.”
Amokachi said he is aware AC Kajaani will be very tough opponents
“They lost the first matches, just as we did. For them, the loss was at home. We know how they play. I hope they have not changed the way they play. We only need our players to do the right things from the first second of the match until the final whistle.”
