Akamukale was a stabilizing force, a bridge builder – APC

The All Progressive Congress (APC) spokesman Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi has described the late Sir Olisaemeka Akamukale as a stabilizing force and a bridge builder in the party who is always identified with progress causes to strengthen the party and ensure unity among members.
Abdullahi in a press statement yesterday at the party secretariat said: “The Party received the news of the death of one of the party’s respected leader’s with shock”, praying that God should grant the immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss and his soul eternal rest.
The party Chieftain who died in a tragic motor accident in Abuja on Tuesday was a member of the Party’s yet to be inaugurated Board of Trustees (BoT).
“Aged 57, the late Akamukale was the former national chairman of the Democratic People’s Party (DPP) that merged with other parties to form the APC in 2013. He had also served as the first Assistant National Secretary of the All Peoples Party (APP).
“He was the Director-General of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Campaign for President and thereafter served as member of the APC Presidential Campaign Committee that worked for the successful election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
“Sadly, the late Akamukale has left us at a critical time when he was needed to contribute to nation building and the implementation of the APC Change Agenda. We however take solace knowing that the late Party chieftain lived a fulfilled and impactful life during his time on earth”, he said.
