Ajimobi gets Assembly approval to appoint five SAs

The Oyo State House of Assembly has approved five additional Special Advisers for the governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi in addition to the already approved 10 in December last year.

Governor Ajimobi, in a letter forwarded to the Speaker, Hon. Michael Adeyemo which was read during plenary on Tuesday, requested for the approval of the House for the appointment of another set of five Special Advisers in order to ensure prompt discharge of government duties and assignments.

The Speaker of the House Hon. Adeyemo, however, announced the approval after a brief debate on the request from the governor.
