African Alliance announces retirement, resignation of MD, Chairman

The African Alliance Insurance company Plc has announced the retirement of its managing Director, Mr. Alphonsus Okpor, as well as the resignation of its else while chairman, Engr Cyril Ajagu.

The company also announced the appointment of Mrs. Olufimilayo Omo, as acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

According to a statement from the company released by the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Okpor’s retirement was based on attainment of 60 years, prescribed by the company’s policy, while Omo appointment, the company revealed is a substantive measure, until a new CEO is appointed.
