African prudential Plc has shown commitment to sustainable growth and compliance with regulatory obligations as the company having appointed new secretary, has informed the market regulators and all stakeholders of the change.
in statement titled: “Notification of appointment of company secretary” signed by Peter Ashade Managing Director/CEO Africa Prudential, the company said, “Africa Prudential Plc wishes to inform the Exchange, its esteemed shareholders, stakeholders and the general public of the appointment of Mr. Joseph Onyinye Jibunoh as Company Secretary.
Joseph holds a degree in Law from the University of Lagos. He was called to the Bar in 1998; and he is soon to be awarded a Masters Degree in Law from University of Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria and member of the World Future Society and Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria.
He has attended various executive management training programmes including the 2014 Lagos Business School class on Competitive Strategy and Blue Ocean Strategy.
He brings on board 18 years of valuable experience cutting across general litigation, legal advisory, corporate finance, compliance & company secretariat to name a few in sectors like Real estate, Banking, Oil and Gas & Insurance.
Prior to joining Africa Prudential Plc, he was the company secretary/legal adviser of Northbridge Energy Ltd. He was also, formally, the Head of Legal at Standard Alliance Insurance Plc and divisional head, Legal at Resort Savings and Loans Plc, all at executive management levels.
