Adetunji sets goals target

Abia Warriors striker, Sunday Adetunji has set a target as regards the number of goals he wants to score before the current Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) reaches the half way stage.
The attacker has scored nine times for the Warriors despite missing the opening five fixtures of the season.
He has now declared that he will like to reach double figures in terms of goals return by the team the season reaches match day 19.
“I set a target for myself even before the current season began.
“Last season I scored 10 goals so I told myself that I would try to better that this season.
“That’s one of the reasons why I have been doing well.
“I missed five matches earlier this season due to registration issues.
“Before my debut against Gombe United (on February 5), my teammates, fans and even members of the management of Abia Warriors were all expecting me to be in action.
“I had to work very hard to make up for the time I lost.
“I want to be on double digits before the season reaches the half way mark,” he said at a press conference in Port Harcourt.
Adetunji says he will be looking to score twice in his next match for Abia Warriors. That game will hold on April 16 in Umuahia against Wikki Tourists.
