Adamawa guber: Alleged malpractices compel INEC to declare poll inconclusive

The Independent National electoral commission has declared the Adamawa state governorship elections inconclusive.
While declaring the election inconclusive, Prof. Andrew Haruna said 44 polling units were characterized with elections malpractices cut across 10 local government areas of the state.
The polling units affected in the Northern Senatorial zone of the state are Madagali which has three polling units for re – run, Michika with five units and Mubi North with three units, while Hong and Song council areas in the Central Senatorial zone four and three units respectively.
The Southern Senatorial district have Toungo with three units, Demsa have four units, Numan has six units, Lamurde three units and Guyuk with three (3) PUs on the rerun list.
According to him, relevant stakeholders and electoral umpire will meet to reschedule a new date for the re – run.
