Fadahunsi Rejects Osun East Senatorial District Results
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Osun East Senatorial District, Prince Francis Fadahunsi, has rejected the results of the march 28th senatorial election.
He gave his rejection while speaking to journalists at his country home in Ilase, Obokun Local Government of the state.
According to him, the election was marred with harassment and intimidation from his opposition.
“Those responsible for the sorrowful mood in Ife/Ijesa senatorial district will not have the last laugh,” he added.
He, however, commended his members for his doggedness despite the challenges faced by them.
“I call on his supporters to remain calm. I will use every legal and peaceful means to contend the results and achieve his ambition of making life better for the Ife/Ijesa people,” he said.
Fadahunsi also urged all members of his party and supporters to go out en mass and vote for the party’s candidate in the April 11, House of Assembly Polls.
He explained that the activities of the Fadahunsi Foundation would continue after the election.
Among the programmes, he said would continue not minding Independent National Electoral Commission’s result were the scholarship and employment placement continues.
