Northern youths task Nigerians on peace, stability

The Chairman Board of Trustees, Northern Youth and Elders Awareness Forum, Alh. Naseer Kura has called on Nigerians to adopt attitudes that promote peaceful coexistence among the various ethnic groups in the country for national unity and continual existence.

The chairman made this call when he led a delegation of the forum to the palace of Lamido Adamawa, Muhammad Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha to commiserate with the monarch over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Saadatu Aliyu Mustapha, who passed away on Wednesday, 23rd of December, 2015 at the age of 87 after a brief illness.

According to Naseer, at a time the country is struggling to regain its lost glory and overcome challenges such as insecurity, economic challenges, unemployment and a whole lots of other problem bedeviling the country, little or nothing at all can be achieved without peace and stability.

Hence, the need to emulate the good characters of the monarch’s late mother whom he described as a bridge builder, motivator and a peace advocate who dedicated her life to the propagation of peace and stability among her people.
