Air Canada forecasts strong 2025 earnings on travel demand

Air Canada is set to surpass analysts’ expectations for its 2025 core profit, thanks to a surge in international travel demand and a rebound in business bookings.

The airline reported a quarterly operating revenue of C$5.40 billion as of December 31, 2024, marking a 4% increase compared to the previous year.

The growth is largely attributed to increased travel on key routes to the Asia Pacific region and China, reflecting a strong post-pandemic recovery in global air travel.
