El-Kanemi boost Squad ahead Warriors’ Clash
El-Kanemi Warriors midfielder Babakura Ali and striker Tammy Tams who came in from Sharks of Port Harcourt, have joined the Desert Warriors in Kano. Both players trained with the main squad on Tuesday in Kano.
The Media Manager of El-Kanemi Warriors, Anthony Obaseki, disclosed that both players have joined the team in Kano ahead of their Sunday’s home match against Abia Warriors.
“We have a full squad here, both Tammy and Ali who weren’t available last week trained with the team on Tuesday, both players were excluded from the last trip to Kwara due to injury but they are back,” Obaseki said.
New signing from Sharks of Port Harcourt, Tammy Tams spoke confidently after training in Kano.
“I’m back and better but I must give kudos to my team mates and the management for their support to me since I joined El-Kanemi Warriors and I believe it’s time for me to deliver. I’m fit to go, “said Tammy.
El-Kanemi Warriors who aren’t playing at their traditional home due to security issues will host Abia Warriors in Kano in a Week 3 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match on March 22.
