Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has apologized to The Punch following his comments about the news medium in a recent spat where-in he purported to have been misquoted and misrepresented.

In the wake of his record-breaking move to Serie A side, Napoli, the Nigerian international in an interview with Sport1 had expressed his hope to emulate South American club legends Diego Maradona, Edinson Cavani and Gonzalo Higuain.
