Hausa Community In A’Ibom Endorse LP Governorship Candidate
Hausa Community in Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District has endorsed the candidature of the Labour Party governorship flag bearer, Senator Helen Esuene for the April 11, 2015 poll.
The Hausa community on Monday in Eket, assured Esuene that they would use their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs wisely by massively voting for her.
Chairman of the community, Alhaji Garba Sariki at the endorsement which took place at the Hausa quarters prayed God to assist Esuene emerge the next governor of the state through their votes in April 11.
Esuene, thanked the community for their show of solidarity, and promised to refurbish all markets in the state if elected governor. She added that her reign as a governor of the state will ensure justice and equal opportunity for people of all tribes who reside in the state.
“My government will do things for human beings and will empower you so that you have money in your pockets.
“Besides, my government will create jobs not only for the teeming youths of the state, but also for other Nigerians who reside in the state,” she said.
Esuene donated some bags of rice and cash for the Hausa community with a charge for them to collect their PVCs before the expiration date to enable them vote for candidates of their choice.
