2019: I protect Gombe from Sambisa, I can end insurgency in Nigeria – Gov Dankwambo

Gombe State Governor and presidential aspirant under the platform of the people’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, on Monday said if voted as the next President of the country, he will protect Nigeria from insurgents like he has done in Gombe State.
Dankwambo said Gombe is closer to the dreaded Sambisa forest yet the State has not witnessed any form of attack from Boko Haram.
“Sambisa is just one hour away from Gombe, and all the northeast troubled States share boundaries with Gombe, yet I was able to protect my people from any form of attack.
“We don’t have herdsmen farmers’ clash, Boko Haram, Kidnapping and any other form of insurgence in my State because i don’t compromise security,” he said.
Gov Dankwambo who spoke in Jos, the Plateau State capital, during his moves to woo the State’s PDP party delegates in the forthcoming party primaries also said if voted into power he will end propaganda which is one of the tools of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
