Aspirant kick starts Gov Umahi’s re-election campaign

A House of Assembly aspirant for Ishielu south constituency in Ebonyi state, Prince Emeka Irem has called on Ebonyi people to support the re-election bid of the governor, Engr. David Umahi ahead of the 2019 governorship election.

Irem, who led over 5,000 supporters to purchase his PDP nomination form at the party’s office, noted that apart from the clamour for equity and justice, Umahi has performed well to be supported for another term.

His aspiration threw wild jubilation in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital as stakeholders and youths of Ishielu South constituency express their determination to oust the incumbent, Julius Nwokpor whom they accused of poor representation and abysmal performance.

Already, several interest groups have advised the PDP in the state to give the ticket to Irem as they had unanimously adopted him as their sole candidate in the 2019 election.
