OBARO OF KABBA: OLORUNDARE CONGRATULATES MONARCH TASKS HIM ON BUILDING A UNITED AND PROGRESSIVE OKUN KINGDOM

With a joyful and merry heart, I wish to respectively congratulate the newly appointed Obaro of Kabba, chairman Okun Traditional Council and Secretary Kogi State Council of Traditional rulers, chief Solomon Dele Owoniyi. Your appointment couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time than this, your ascension to the exalted throne is an answered prayers to the yearnings and aspirations of the people of Kabba and Okun at large for a King, leader and a father.

After two years since the demise of our late Father and king, Oba Michael Olobayo OON, we have been like orphans without a father and as sheep’s without a shepherded, hence your coming on board is more than welcome, it is divine response to the people’s cry.

Your Majesty, the job before you is enormous and challenging; but with God on your side as well as the people’s support it is achievable. Topmost among them is the tasking job of rebuilding the ruins of our Jerusalem (Okunland) and developing a roadmap for her eventual development and progress. This can only be done if we forge a path towards uniting all and sundry.

Now that we have a father, one who can speak for us and defend the land, we are optimistic that you will use your position as the rallying point for the entire Okun kingdom, embracing and accommodating all as a father will do so as to begin to build consensus and pursue a common objective.

Your Majesty Sir, the unprecedented celebration, jubilation and joy that greeted the Owe people and Okun as a whole following the news of your appointment is something that point to one direction; the long awaited expectation of a people and the anticipation of a new dawn. Kabiyesi, to whom much is given much more is expected. May the same God of Solomon endow you with the Solomon’s kind of wisdom to rule justly and peacefully through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I’m your Son and loyal subject,
PRINCE, OLORUNDARE A.S. DESTINY
Aspirant
Kogi State House of Assembly 2019
