Madagali insurgents attacks: Gov Jibrilla Bindow commends troops, calls for more deployment

Worried by the constant attacks of some vulnerable villages in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Governor Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, has reiterated the urgent need for deployment of more troops to protect Adamawa communities.
A statement by his SA on Media and publicity, Macauley Hunohashi, says the Governor’s appeal is coming on the hills of attacks on two communities; Sabon Gari and Kafin Hausa in Madagali Local Government area, Wednesday night.
Sen Jibrilla Bindow noted that, “I am more than convinced that the deployment of more security personnel will help greatly in the effort to neutralize the Boko Haram terrorist group.”
He however commended members of the civilian JTF, local hunters, Mobile Police Force and the Nigerian Military who engaged the attackers and repelled them after a fierce gun battle.
Sen Jibrilla Bindow said his heart is with those who lost relations and property. He prayed for those who have lost their lives in the attack.
The Wednesday attacks came one week after a similar attack on Gulak, the capital Of Madagali, where one soldier and a civilian were believed to have died.
