Former PDP Govs in closed door meeting with Makarfi

Former governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Thursday paid a consultative visit to the National Chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi in Abuja.

The meeting, which held under closed doors, was at the national headquarters of the PDP popularly known as Wadata House.

The meeting last for about two hours.

At the end of the meeting, the Governors refused to answer questions from Journalists.

One of them merely said , ” we only came to consult with the National Chairman of great party and to congratulate him on his recent victory at the Supreme court. We had a fruitful deliberations”.

Some of the former governors who met with Makarfi yesterday were Babangida Aliyu, Niger, Gbenga Daniel, Ogun, Peter Obi, Anambra, Achike Udenwa, Imo, T.A Orji, Abia, Emmanuel Uduaghan, Delta, Liyel Imhoke, Cross River, Jolly Nyame, Taraba and Ibrahim Shekarau, Kano states.
