How Solar-Panel Roofs can restore the Green Technology

The modern age has gone far with the development of pure and applied arts of science and technology to transform nature, currently being inculcated or initiated into architecture and building. Against this backdrop, many solar energy installing companies, many of which are based in Lagos, are already making the service available and are in the verge of becoming household names.

Alexander Carpe doubles as a chartered architect and a tested builder, runs Alex Carpe Associates, a building and structural engineering firm, with numerous full–hand specialty professionals in the building industry, based in Lagos. He addressed The Daily Times in his office and demonstrated how the new idea of making every roof with solar–panels. He urged solar–panel manufacturing companies to mass–produce the savioury product making them available and affordable for all, across the world.

It would be recalled that in 2011, precisely June 14, Dr. Lester Brown, a renowned author of numerous books on environment and climate change, while taking questions in an interview from the officials of the Earth Policy Institute (EPI) in Washington D.C. U.S.A, had this to say: “We know the best ways to manage disaster is to prevent it in the first place”, citing a common ancient and modern adage which says. “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

Another source at the Ministry of the Environment and Physical Planning, Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, who spoke in confidence to our correspondent, said “This earth will become a replica of heaven when all roofs of every building or house both private and public are made solely of solar-panels, as it will serve as a global solution to all kinds of energy crisis as a popular crisis resolution aid. It would be a permanent cure for the swoon (di-ease) of the ill–fated recurring or resurgent power outage and the new culture of roofing will change the course of climate change, since it will become instrumental for cooling the Global Warming – the chief cause of climate change.

“Furthermore, the use of solar-panels for roofing in every land and clime will obliterate the rising volumes of the world atmospheric carbon pools being generated by generating sets and vehicular exhaust emissions and also through industrial fumes. Indeed, having every roof on earth carved with solar–panel finishing is a welcome Climate Change Mitigation Action measure ever to emerge since the cacophonies of Climate Change Action.
