Azeez teams up with Sand Eagles

Former Warri Wolves attacking midfielder Abu Azeez will team up with the Beach Soccer side, the Super Sand Eagles as they prepare for the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The player, who retired from beach soccer earlier this year, had a change of heart after discussions with officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the coaches of the national beach soccer team and will now team up with the squad.
The Super Sand Eagles are currently in residential camping in Badagry as they get set for the Copa Lagos tournament and the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations which holds between December 13 and 18.
Nigeria are hosts of the tournament which will serve as qualifiers for the Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup in the Bahamas in 2017.
The Super Sand Eagles will battle it out against the likes of Senegal and Ivory Coast for one of the two slots to represent Africa in the Bahamas.
Libya, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Madagascar and hosts Nigeria will take part in the tournament.
