2019: ‘Kaduna State needs emergency political response’

Immediate past Director General, Media and Publicity to former Governor Muktar Ramalan Yero, Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki has posited that Kaduna state requires political emergency response to take her out of its present quagmire.
According to him, the state is bedevilled with lots of insecurity ranging from kidnapping, cattle rustling, unwarranted killings, coupled with abject poverty and sufferings among several other negativities.
Maiyaki who has now pitched his tent with the immediate past National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Director General, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Sidi who is also seeking to govern the state on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said, all hands must be on deck in unity to change the present government under the leadership of Governor Nasir el-Rufai of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
