175 officials of opposition parties defect to APC in Adamawa

Over 173 members of various opposition parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC) and others from Toungo LGA area of Adamawa state have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The defectors pledged their loyalty for APC because of Governor Mohammed Jibrilla Mohammed who has brought development to the area. They extolled President Muhammadu Buhari for awarding the Mayobelwa Toungo Road contract and pledged their votes for him during March gubernatorial election. The campaign Director General of Bindo, Chief Felix Tangwami told thousands of APC in Jada, Ganye and Toungo of Bindo’s readiness to work for Adamawa people. “We are here to tell you whenever Governor Bindo promised he will always keep it; I assure you of total work in Toungo, as you have seen it before you will still see it again. Just come out and vote for Buhari and Bindo.” He said.
