Women drug addicts snub rehab centre

National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Kebbi state currently houses female drug addicts’ rehabilitation centre that was constructed by the wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr Zainab Bagudu and handed over to the command, for the purpose of rehabilitating women in drug addiction.
According to the Commander, Sulaiman Jadi, despite the enlightenment campaigns in several media houses, the rehabilitation centre still remains unoccupied, despite the huge sum spent by the government.
He added that the centre is equipped with the state of the art facilities for the comfort of the occupants, and called on parents of the affected to trade off fear and shame to bring their wards to the centre for rehabilitation, so that the efforts of the governor’s wife will not become a waste.
Jadi thanked Dr. Zainab for her foresight and the enabling environment provided by the government for the command to operate peacefully.
