Verratti not happy at PSG –Ventura

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is not happy at the French champions, according to Italy coach Giampiero Ventura. As Ventura prepares to make his bow as national team boss, he revealed Verratti is upset due to being played out of position in the French capital. After starting the opening two matches of the Ligue 1 season on the bench, Verratti was in the line-up for PSG’s surprise 3-1 loss at Monaco last week.
Lucescu confirms Juve interest in Witsel
Juventus are trying to sign Belgium international Axel Witsel, Zenit coach Mircea Lucescu has confirmed. Witsel told reporters this month he plans to stay at Zenit for another season and would not rule out prolonging his stay in Russia with a new contract. But Lucescu revealed Serie A champions Juve are attempting to seal a deal for the midfielder, who has turned down a move to Everton ahead of the transfer window closing today.
Rosicky returns to Sparta Prague
Tomas Rosicky has completed his return to Sparta Prague on a two-year deal, the Czech side have confirmed. Rosicky started his professional career with Sparta before making a move to Borussia Dortmund in January 2001. After excelling in Germany, where he won the Bundesliga in the 2001-2002 season, Rosicky made the switch to Arsenal in 2006. The veteran midfielder, who has won over 100 caps for the Czech Republic, has now returned home to Sparta.
