Unknown gunmen abducts married women in Birnin Kebbi

Unknown armed men at Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi have taken hostage a married woman, Sadiya Tsoho in Birnin Kebbi. The abduction took place on Sunday night. The unsuspecting couple were in their bedrooms when the armed men broke into the house a whisked away Sadiya.

The Daily Times visited the shop of the husband at Rafin Atiku in Birnin Kebbi and met Alhaji Anas Mamuda Maigishiri who looked so devastated.

He simply said he was not permitted to speak to the press but told us off record that the where about of his wife is still unknown as the family are yet to establish contact with the abductors, adding that what he needed now is prayers.

Confirming the incident, DSP Mustapha Sulaiman said that the kidnappers have contacted the parents and demanded ransom but declined to state the amount, and he pointed out that the case is being investigated by the relevant section.
